Abstract

Administrative correspondence services at the village level are still largely conducted manually, leading to various issues such as delays in service delivery, data processing errors, and limitations in document archiving. This study aims to develop a web-based Smart Village Information System that integrates administrative services, village information, and public complaint management into a single platform. The system was developed using the Waterfall software development model, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. The application was built using the Laravel framework, supported by PHP and MySQL. System testing was carried out using black-box testing to ensure functional correctness, while User Acceptance Testing (UAT) was employed to evaluate user satisfaction and system usability. The results indicate that all system functionalities operate as expected. Furthermore, the UAT evaluation achieved a score of 87.67%, which falls into the “highly feasible” category. These findings demonstrate that the developed system is capable of improving the efficiency, transparency, and overall quality of administrative services at the village level.
